![]() ![]() Also kinda wish this sheet had unused tiles on it too. Airships first appear in Super Mario Bros. They tend to be mounted with numerous cannons, Bill Blasters, and other weaponry, and are heavily occupied by Bowsers forces and Princess Peach is usually kept captive in Bowsers Airship. Oh and for what it's worth, that 5th coin frame on this sheet perplexes me, because it doesn't seem to exist in the game's data at all, and given how animated tiles work, it COULDN'T exist in the game, as nearly all animated background tiles only have up to 4 frames (the only exceptions being the tiles in the tank levels and overworld maps, which have 3 frames instead). Airships are large floating fortress ships used by the Koopa Troop to attack distant targets from the air or space. ![]() I'd add them myself, but this sheet is so compact and well put together, I'm almost afraid to mess with it myself at the risk of ruining something else on it. ![]() I also realized it's missing the unique 3-frame ? block graphics used in the tank levels. I remember always seeing some sort of "shimmering" on that tile every time I played the NES version, so I'm surprised nobody has ripped it yet. I was looking through SMB3 graphics just now, and I realized that there is actually some light animation on the top of the Bullet Bill Blaster tiles which is missing in this sheet (and virtually every other SMB3 tileset rip out there). ![]()
